Description:
This game is for those who want to replay Pokémon Platinum without the limitations of swarms, events, Trophy Garden, GBA inserts, and daily encounters in the Great Marsh. **Platinum Unlocked** adds all Pokémon locked by these mechanics, making them immediately catchable, as well as allowing you to obtain Darkrai and Shaymin without events. The goal is to deliver a **vanilla+** experience, with quality of life (QOL) improvements, while keeping everything cool in Gen 4 and beyond, without changing the essence of **Platinum**. The patch must be applied to the rev 1 version of Pokémon Platinum.
Features:
– Catch all Pokémon from the GBA inserts, swarms, daily encounters in the Great Marsh, and Trophy Garden without having to wait. You'll find them in the normal Platinum locations, making them legal and transferable (see the bugs for the Great Marsh ones).
– Fishing with the Good Rod will allow you to catch Pokémon that normally only appear with the Super Rod in the post-game (Staryu, Qwilfish, Dratini, Corphish, Wailmer, etc.) in their normal Platinum locations. You can also find Feebas on Mt.
– Regional Pokédex reworked to include new additions with their locations.
– Drifloon available every day after the event at Valley Windworks (you still have to wait a day for it to appear).
– Spiritomb available after inserting the Odd Keystone.
– Gyms, Elite 4, Cynthia, and Team Galactic boss battles and Battleground rematches have been revamped with new additions to their teams. Some will mirror their Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP) counterparts.
